Sourcebook defined

Inspired by Sean Cubitt's description of a networked subjectivity, the "sourcebook" is the Spring 2007, Learning Is A Public Art collaborative experience and expression. It is meant to be viewed, contributed to and used as a map; "as a resource which is portable; annotated; parsed by content; light rather than heavy; as a visual educator; a catalyst for conversation and thought; direct links to origin material; a locater as well as a continuum."

Kids picking a doll - black or white?

From Jennifer's email:

I am pretty sure that we talked about this in class a few weeks ago - little
kids being asked to pick the good doll from a category consisting of only one black doll and one white
doll - I am thinking it was mentioned in the Bill Cosby video. Anyway, they reconstructed the test
in current day to see if the results changed. This video we in a group DVD you can get on Netflix
called "6 Media That Matters Film Festival"... I highly recommend it if you are interested in short
documentary/experimental films.
